Trafford Council AMHP Hub is seeking to appoint a specialist AMHP practitioner to work as a part of our dedicated hub. The AMHP hub comprises a small team of enthusiastic and committed social workers who deliver a daytime AMHP service across the Borough of Trafford. The team offers mutual support and access to specialist advice with a strong emphasis on best practice and multi-agency working.You will provide advice and support to CMHT colleagues in relation to the operation of the Act particularly around care and support of our service users to agree the best outcomes for them. You will offer mutual advice and support to AMHP colleagues some of whom are based in CMHTs and may wish to pursue casework consultations.You will work full-time hours 36.25 hours per week, of which four days will be spent on frontline duty and one day will be used for administration, liaison and learning/reflection/supervision. You will have ready access to supervision and advice to support your practice. An induction to Trafford and our Mental Health Act 1983 (2007) will be provided to help orient you into a new setting.You must hold a recognised professional Social Work qualification (MA/BA/BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or CQSW) and be HCPC registered. Additionally, you must have at least two years post qualifying experience and be able to provide five years of references.
