Commercial ManagerLocation: Trafford, Manchester, M41 7LY.Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE.Contract: Full time, permanent.100% provides award-winning solutions to activate retail experiences for leading global brands. You will contribute to the businesses ongoing success by supporting delivery of the company’s Commercial Success goal, maintaining competitiveness and efficiency at both direct cost & overhead level.The core functions of the role will involve management of operational P&L, cost management system, estimating & cost management process, customer & supplier ratecards.We have a great team culture with a strong work ethic and are looking for people who are enthusiastic, ambitious and want to be part of an exciting company.Responsibilities:• Control, monitor and report on commercial performance across the business. • Provide analysis to seek opportunities to improve performance and grow the business.• Identify commercial risk and make recommendations based on analysis of all factors involved.• Manage monthly commercial profit and loss reporting.• Investigate and identify profit under & over performance and devise resolutions.• Resolve issues with commercial operations for both customers and suppliers. Coach colleagues on best practice for handling and managing commercial issues.• Manage the cost control system including training of colleagues.• Ensure cost management and financial processes and systems are aligned.• Manage commercial process flows, costing methodologies, and budget management both during and post project delivery.• Oversee systems are populated on a timely and accurate basis, working with departmental managers.• Support commercial scoping and estimating of new business opportunities in collaboration with New Business and Account Managers.• Develop, implement and monitor master ratecards with customers.• Manage, monitor and update master ratecards with suppliers.• Lead the efficient buying & negotiating of services and supplies for large scale projects.• Support procurement of business supplies and services, working with Senior Management• Support Head of Supply Partnerships in managing commercial aspect of supplier relationships.What youll need:• A background in the retail display industry• Strong proven and broad understanding of the retail installations business model, including the operational factors affecting commercial performance.• Breadth of experience of project types from production to installation, short run to high volume, UK to international, VM to display fixtures and POS.• 5+ years’ manager level experience in roles in the retail display involving a combination of commercials & procurement, operational delivery/project management, and customer acquisition & management.• Extremely strong commercial and financial acumen with an analytical mindset.• Persuasiveness with evident negotiation skills.• Confidence and ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organisation.• Highly analytical and able to provide senior management with comprehensive commercial reports.• Ability to create and own a management information reporting suite.• Experience of working with an international supply chain.• A customer centric approach.• Strong and effective communication including verbal and nonverbal.• Exceptional organisation with an attention to detail.• Driven to meet deadlines in line with compliance.• A team player and willingness to get stuck in.• Proactive approach to getting things done.• Flexibility to manage and adapt to fast-paced change and the challenges that brings.• Resilience and positive attitude in challenging situations.• Innovative problem-solving skills to find solutions and make decisions.• Quick at learning new software systems and technologies.• Excellent with IT particularly in Microsoft Office and Excel.Desirable:• Experience of SQL databases.• Full clean driving licence.What’s nextIf you love a challenge where no two days are the same, please send your CV and tell us why you should be our next 100%’er.No agencies please Required skills
