Catering AssistantTrafford General Hospital - Davyhulme M41 5SLManchester University NHS Foundation TrustBand 2 - £11.45/hr (Weekdays), £16.14/hr (Saturdays) & £20.95 (Sundays/Bank Holidays)Working 5 days out of 7 per week on a flexible rota (inc. some weekends)37.5 hours per week - Working 5 days from 7 - 11.00-19.00 including some weekends.Would you like to be part of a team that works well together, always there to help each other Would you like to work in a Trust that recently had good in their CQC report This location is easily accessible by public transport and has onsite parking.If you answered yes, Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust would love to hear from you.We have an ongoing long-term placement available for a Catering Assistant at Trafford General Hospital in Davyhulme. You will need to be flexible on your availability, as this role is rota based, working 5 days out of 7.Duties include:The successful Catering/Kitchen Assistants will be able to use their initiative to provide the following support to the Catering team.

  • Food service to patients on the wards.
  • Collection of trollies of used plates and cutlery.
  • Some cleaning of food areas.
  • Responsible for the safe use of kitchen equipment.
  • To complete any other tasks as directed by the line manager.
The skills required are:
  • Experience working in a kitchen and cleaning would be highly advantageous.
  • Great communication and organisation skills.
  • Needs to be physically fit.
