Job Description

Area Sales Representative due to internal promotion a role has become available by an international manufacturer of polymer solutions who supply to multiple sectors including construction, industrial and automotive industries. They’re now looking for an experienced field area sales representative with strong working knowledge of commercial PVCu windows to sell their products in the region covering the North West of England.The Role:Reporting to the Head of Sales (Northern Region), as the Area Sales Representative you’ll be responsible for business development throughout North West of England including Cumbria, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Staffordshire, Merseyside, Isle of Man, Clwyd and Gwynedd.You’ll work closely with Architects, Specifiers, Consultants and Developers and potentially other clients associated with PVCu market. The role will consist of:

  • Account management and new sales development B2B throughout the region
  • Managing and growing established accounts
  • Building business through new accounts
  • Sole responsibility for the area
  • Covering the North West region to include
  • Based/living on sales patch
  • The successful Area Sales Representative should have:
  • Previous experience of selling PVC-u windows business to business is a must
  • Strong working knowledge of the construction industry and the market within the area
  • Working knowledge of the fenestration market
  • Experience of dealing with Architects, Specifiers, Developers and Contractors is essential
  • Strong standard of education, ideally to A Level standard or equivalent
  • Can demonstrate strong relationship building with customers
  • Organised and planned
  • Articulate and able to communicate at all levels
