Job Description

The HR Advisor will oversee all day-to-day operational HR activities, advising business and line managers on the delivery of HR policy, procedures, and processes, to support overall business goals and objectives.Client DetailsMy client is a leading business within the Leisure and Tourism sector.DescriptionKey Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with stakeholders across the business and partner with managers to deliver HR initiatives, delivering solutions to meet future challenges
  • Deliver people strategies to support current and future business needs
  • Upskill and coach business managers in all areas of people policy and processes
  • Keep up to date with UK employment law, ensuring policies and procedures are updated and implemented consistently
  • Advise and assist with staff performance management matters
  • Assist business managers with employee training and development programmes
  • Manage recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, advertising, undertaking interviews, and overseeing induction processes
  • Lead and implement effective HR Administration procedures, including finance and payroll
  • Ensure formal, fair and legally compliant processes are followed through record keeping and legal guidance
  • Manage healthcare and other benefits, and assist the finance team with any pension benefit queries
  • Design and report on key HR metrics to identify areas of improvement
  • Create and manage HR information and documentation such as HR How-to guides
  • Assist Regional Directors in the management and administration of Insurance Brokers, Health and Safety, and Compliance matters
Profile
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources Management
  • CIPD qualified - Level 5 or above
  • Solid generalist experience in HR
  • Hands-on experience of HR process and policies
  • Excellent knowledge of employee relations
  • Experiences of using HR systems (HRMS/HRIS)
  • Excellent working knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Line management experience is beneficial
Job Offer
  • Salary up to £40,000 per annum
  • Full-time and permanent position
  • Fully site-based role - due to the nature of the leisure and tourism industry
  • Some UK travel may be required
  • There may be a requirement to work occasional weekends, due to a either new site openings or recruitment open days
