Job Description

Warehouse Operator / Warehouse Labourer £26,500 basic, overtime also availablePermanent role, Dayshift, Monday - Friday, 42.5 hours per week. We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operator for a permanent, full-time position with our client in Uddingston. This is a role within an industrial warehouse setting, handling large and sometimes awkward items - it is NOT the type of role where youwill be picking and packing small items or using shopping trolleys.Applicants will ideally have both but must have at least one of either a Reach (preferred) or Counterbalance licence, and application progression preference will be given to applicants who have it clearly stated on their CV or covering letter that they haveone or both of these licences.Previous and proven experience of doing a similar hands-on warehouse operator role within an industrial environment is required along with you also having a steady employment history. In addition to the hands-on physical aspect of the job which means youmust be physically fit and energetic, applicants must also be hardworking, reliable and always on time, have good attention to detail, and be able to follow verbal and written instructions.Standard working hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am to 6.30pm (42.5 hrs per week) and you must also be quite flexible as regular overtime is also available during busy periods and this can sometimes also include Saturdays.
