Job Description

Operator (Cooperage) Uddingston, G71 £10 per hour Taskmaster Resources Ltd have been given the opportunity to work with a brand new client based in Uddingston for numerous temp to perm roles working within a growing business that is dedicated to providing an outstanding quality of craftsmanship in casksfor the whiskey industry.Our client require experienced manual workers to add to the team that have good attention to detail, excellent fitness level due to the job being physically demanding, experience using manual tools and workers that work well by themselves as you will beresponsible for assessing the casks from the yard, dismantling and re-assembling the casks to ensure they are at the highest standard to be sold back to our client customers.Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 7am - 4:30pm and Friday 7am - 1pm.What we can offer you within our client:

  • A temp to perm position for successful candidates
  • The opportunity to be trained as a Cooperage Operator
  • Further certifications and qualifications once fully trained
  • No evenings or weekends however over time is available within peak periods
  • £10 per hour training rate
  • Weekly wages every Friday from Taskmaster
  • Taskmaster offer a refer a friend bonus
  • Employee of the month incentive bonus
What we require for our client:
  • Excellent work ethic with the desire to learn a trade
  • Experience working within a manual labouring position
  • Local to the site due to starting times
  • A reference from a previous employer OR education reference
