Inventory Controller / Supplier Liaison Up to £30,000 DOE, poss negotiable Permanent role, Monday - Friday DayshiftWe are looking for experienced Inventory Controller for our warehouse and distribution client based in Uddingston. Previous and proven experience of doing a similar Inventory Control role is required along with you also having a steady employment history.In this role you will be responsible for scheduling and planning materials in line with MRP system requirements. You will monitor and track top running items to allow forecasting, ensuring system models are maintained using business intelligence and forecastinformation gathered from MS AX and other sources i.e. customer and supplier data. You will be the primary liaison between Customers, Sales & Warehouse, and responsible for satisfying all relevant queries to completion.Responsibilities will include: - Master Planning- Inventory Control- Raise Purchase Orders- Resolving inventory/sales queries from internal & external customers- Ensure that the actual stock levels are correctly reflected in MS AX in the correct locations- Transfer Orders from/to other branches- Take ownership of internal warehouse activities, monitoring open Transfer orders, negative stocks & ageing deliveries- Raise & Process NCRs to completion- Raise Credit Notes- Identify and implement process improvements that improve accuracy of the stock recording in SAP- Effective communication and coordination with the inventory owners: multiple business stakeholders across the organisation.- Ensure readiness of external /internal auditsThe Ideal Candidate:- Inventory management experience- Able to make decisions and understand the financial impact it will have- Experience with Microsoft AX- Excellent communication skills- Flexible- Able to take initiative- Excellent attention to detail- Reliable- Confident- Authoritative- EnergeticApplications will be treated with the strictest of confidence.
