Macclesfield | Financial Controller | £60,000 - £70,000Im working exclusively with an ambitious, high growth business who are looking to appoint a Financial Controller who will report directly into the FD. This is an opportunity to step into a vibrant business at a level which gives you a comprehensive overviewof the whole company structure and provides you with the responsibility to be the driving force behind further growth of the business through expansion into new markets.Key responsibilities;

Overall responsibility for the provision of timely and robust management reporting of the Groups UK commercial operations to inform members of the Main Board on the financial and operational performance of the Division
Presentation of commercial results, budgets and forecasts of performance, cash flow projections, key performance indicators etc. at Divisional Board meetings
Monitoring of UK commercial banking covenants and debt service obligations; ensuring the timely payment of debt service costs, submission of financial covenants and supporting management information and continued covenant compliance
Monitoring actual development costs incurred against original appraisal together with project returns over time
Overseeing and managing a team of 6 direct reports
Leading the migration of the commercial division from its current legacy accounting software to the Groups software to drive efficiency and improve financial and performance reporting
Managing the year-end audit process and statutory accounts production to ensure a clean external audit sign-off for all Group reporting entities, ensuring adherence to Group statutory reporting timetables and prevailing accounting standards
Preparation of the Group consolidation and Group statutory accounts for the Group
Monitor, maintain and enforce strong financial controls across all UK commercial operations to safeguard the assets of the Group and ensure compliance with legal requirements
Overseeing monthly reporting by the Groups overseas operations
Collation and consolidation of all Group results and operational reports for inclusion in the Main Group Board pack
Management of the Groups online banking platforms and the processing of BACS payments through the groups payment application software
Make positive contribution to the continual improvement of the Group Finance function through active participation in the regular Finance Review meetings

Candidate profile;

ACA / ACCA qualified
Ability to show confidence when interacting with management and directors
Proactive in approach to work
Strong analytical skills
