We are delighted to be supporting our client Arcinova, a Quotient Sciences business, with their search for a talented Commercial Lawyer to join the team.Quotient Sciences is a drug development and manufacturing accelerator providing integrated programs and tailored services across the entire development pathway. Science, Agility and Culture are the core components that define Quotient Sciences.The RoleDue to growth and expansion, the team is seeking a talented Commercial Lawyer to take on a key role in Quotient’s Legal Team supporting the business in the UK and USA.A significant proportion of the role will be related to commercial contracts, focused on the review and negotiation of contracts as well as providing advice on data protection issues.The role will also include assisting and/or leading on projects in other areas of business law such as corporate, disputes, mergers and acquisitions and property matters, with the support of external counsel as appropriate.The role holder will also be expected to support more junior members of the legal team with technical queries and with their professional development.The existing team of 4 lawyers and a paralegal work in a modern, customer-focused way, utilising technology where possible to provide the best service.Embracing flexibility, candidates will be considered who wish to work in either the Nottingham or Alnwick offices, or remotely with a minimum of 1 day per week in the office once Covid restrictions ease.The CandidateThe successful candidate will be legally qualified and have at least 5 years post qualification experience in commercial law, some of which will have been gained in-house. The ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment. This position would suit someone confident to engage with and advise stakeholders at all levels, as well as deliver training on legal and compliance topics.The ideal candidate will have:
