Job Description

Video and Motion Graphics ArtistStart: January/February Location: Leicester (Hybrid, or remote)Length: 12 MonthsRate: £215PD - £235PD PAYE (eq. to £250-275PD via Umbrella, or £51k-£56kPA permanent)Inside IR35: PAYE via Trust in SodaTrust in Soda are partnered with an award-winning video game studio owned by a tech giant. They are in need of a Video and Motion Graphics Artist to join the Video team there. The ideal candidate is someone who is proactive, can iterate on ideas quicklyand can use their creativity to help shape the look and feel of new videos.Youll be part of an in-studio Video team responsible for producing quality video content to support our online platforms and promote their latest games.Working closely with the Marketing and Community teams, youll have the opportunity to help craft ongoing video content for one of their most widely known games as well as their new game currently in production!Key Accountabilities

  • Create high-quality motion graphics exploring new styles that can then be used within our videos.
  • Edit on-camera interviews and game footage to create new videos that support the promotion of our games.
  • Create high-quality videos that adhere to established styles and branding principles.
  • When ideating new videos, identify the footage required and create shot lists to support the topic.
  • Assist with the capture of in-game footage for use in videos.
  • Work closely with the rest of the Video team and the Community team to help improve processes and identify potential video topics.
Required Skills and Experience
  • A showreel of previous work.
  • Previous experience of motion graphics creation and video editing.
  • Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud apps, including After Effects and Premiere Pro.
  • Ability to follow a brief and deliver content to tight deadlines.
Desirable Characteristics
  • Experience with game capture.
  • Good technical understanding of different video formats
