One of our schools in the Kings Norton area and are keen to raise the attainment of Maths results over the course of this academic year, and so have asked us to provide someone to come in and deliver a split role within the Maths department. 50% teaching and 50% Maths intervention with small groups.This is an all-boys schools in a socio-economically deprived part of south Birmingham, and as such, behaviour can be challenging, so it is vital that you are someone that has natural confidence and resilience, and can engage with the boys on a relatable level.It will be commencing after October half term, and could run through until the summer.You will be required to teach the curriculum up to KS4 and the role will include, planning, marking and other associated duties.The chosen personwill then begin a temporary contract with the school as soon as all compliance requirements have been satisfied.Daily rates are between £110 and £140 per day (PAYE), subject to experience.NB: All necessary safeguarding checks will be carried out, prior to commencement of work.
