Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity working for a multi-billion dollar global organisation based near Broxbourne. This would ideally suit somebody who has been in a similar role for 2+ years who speaks fluent polish.What’s in it for you:

Key responsibilities of the Polish Speaking Shipping Coordinator:

Log & track all shipments
Scheduling of all contracts and shipments directly with suppliers
Establish freight rates directly with shippers and hauliers
Establish and verify duty rates
Ensure all documentation with regard to import regulations with the EEC is in order and correct
Liaise with nominated clearing agents
Timely and accurate completion of import and export customs entries and declarations
Update inhouse computer system in accordance with the company’s day to day business practices
Liaise with clearing agents in a timely manner to ensure that all documentation is in order and presented to them to avoid excess handling charges
Work with the Senior Management Team to ensure a smooth process
Providing goods traceability reports for Technical Department

For this Polish Speaking Shipping Coordinator role, the employer is looking for:

2-3 years + in Logistics/shipping/transport - import (essential)
Polish speaker
Knowledge of EU and non-EU import and export processes
Producing and dealing with international shipping documentation
Able to work in a fast-paced environment - working to deadlines and changes ability to react to short notice changes to suit operational requirements
Accuracy and attention to detail
Proactive, ability to work using own initiative
Ability to work in a team
Be competent in use of Microsoft Office applications
Intermediate to advanced in Excel
