Job Description

Web Analyst - West Kent - Up to £30,000 plus benefits - ASAP StartPlease note that this role is working from home with 2 days a week minimum required in the officeI currently have an excellent opportunity for a Web Analyst who has experience working with CRM systems, e-commerce and corporate websites. My client is looking for an individual who has strong attention to detail to assist with development, design and content of the main corporate and e-commerce sites.This will be a technical role and will suit someone who has worked on marketing web projects, had some previous business analysis experience as user stories, backlog and functional testing will be a weekly task.Daily Duties

  • To support the Web Manager in delivering, redevelopments of the organisations websites
  • Design, develop, and test new aspects of the websites
  • Build test cases that ensure quality of development, in advance of delivery to the business
  • Carry out functional testing of solutions and fixes, including the recording and communication of results
  • Take ownership of User Stories in the backlog, ensuring stories are completed to a satisfactory level of detail
  • To work alongside the marketing team to maximise the position on search engines, to drive more relevant traffic through to the sites, and deliver more conversion/engagement, as a result
  • Work with the 3rd party suppliers, the Web Manager, and internal IT/development teams to design technical solutions and act as a conduit for the business to the Supplier
  • To assist in the maintenance and development of online purchasing capabilities for the organisation
  • To aid work across the business, with those responsible for website content, to ensure it is updated regularly and appropriately, according to agreed procedures and best practice
  • Organise and facilitate UAT sessions, liaising with relevant business
  • Assist the Web Manager and work with the Business representatives to identify targets for improvements to the business, following project
  • Provide system training, for web content owners, and on a train the trainer basis
  • Co-author support and user guides for
  • Assisting with the internal, and external, promotion of the solutions
  • Skills Required
  • Strong previous experience working as a Web Analyst
  • Strong web based/e-commerce technical knowledge
  • Previous experience on working with IT projects
  • Strong attentional to detail
  • Gather user requirements and stories
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps working environments
  • A good technical understanding and experience of website redevelopment projects
  • The ability to develop, and configure, a broad range of functions within a CMS - Kentico preferred
