Job Description

Payments AdministratorUp to £28k Benefits: Discretionary annual bonus, 30 days annual leave (incl. BH), company pension Tunbridge Wells - Office BasedFull Time - Mon-Fri 8:30 - 17:00 Permanent Do you have experience in Finance, Banking or Payments Are you looking for a company with a diverse, dynamic, busy and friendly team that support you in your career growth Look no further!My client are a small stockbrokers based in central Tunbridge Wells, they are members of LSE and are regulated by the FCA. They are currently looking to expand their busy Payments team with a full time, office based Payments Administrator. In this role youwill be working closely with the Payments Manager alongside two other Administrators, ensuring that all Cash Payment requests are actioned promptly, Cash receipts are applied correctly to Client accounts and all Bank accounts are fully funded.Key Responsibilities:

  • Make UK and International payments to Clients and other Financial Firms via Faster Payment, CHAPS and BACS using external banking systems
  • Ensure Client accounts have sufficient funds to make any payments requested and apply appropriate fees to cover the payment costs
  • Download and reconcile Bank statements daily
  • Ensure all relevant regulatory controls and procedures are diligently employed and observed including FCA, Inland Revenue and in particular, CASS requirements
  • Resolve any outstanding cash receipts
  • Reconcile FX Trades
  • Pay all cheques received onto client accounts and deposit them daily
  • Monitor a shared email inbox
About you:
  • Experience working within Financial Services, Banking or Payments
  • Previous experience working within an office environment
  • Confident communicator both written and verbal
  • Excellent attention to detail with solid accuracy skills
  • Able to work to strict deadlines
  • Good numerical and computer skills
