Job Description

Business Development Manager - Commercial Real Estate - Law Firm - Tunbridge Wells / Hybrid - £60,000 + BenefitsWe’re looking for a successful Business Development Manager, with experience of the commercial real estate sector ideally gained within a legal services environment, to join a major player in the legal world in their Tunbridge Wells office.Working closely with the Head of Real Estate, the Business Development Manager will develop and deliver their ambitious growth strategy and implement the action plans in order to support the lawyers to win work.Suitable candidates will be highly experienced in supporting professionals in lead generation and conversion, pitches and key account management and will have proven experience of delivering multi-channel, lead generating marketing campaigns. You will love building relationships at all levels and will be a genuine people-person.You may be a BD Executive looking to step up into a Manager role, or you might be a BDM looking for a new role closer to home in Tunbridge Wells - either way, we’d love to hear from you!What’s on offer Our client is offering a competitive salary up to £60k and a benefits package which includes 25 days annual leave as well as your birthday off, 50/50 hybrid working, private health care, free parking and bonus scheme.Key responsibilities as the Business Development Manager will include:

  • Acting as a sales enabler’, supporting lawyers to win work
  • Developing and delivering the business development strategy for the real estate team
  • Identifying prospects and engagement opportunities
  • Developing and implementing multi-channel campaigns with the marketing team
  • Project managing all aspects of the tender process from initial qualification through to proposals, presentations and debriefs
  • Managing client engagement - overseeing real estate key account programme, client reviews and ways to improve client experience

What we’re looking for:
  • Demonstrable success in business development within the real estate sector, ideally within a law firm / legal services environment
  • Extensive experience supporting professionals in lead generation and conversion, pitches and key account management
  • Proven experience delivering multi-channel, lead-generating marketing campaigns
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • A passion for utilising technology, leveraging data in decision making and being able to adapt to change
  • IT literate
  • Ability to act as an ambassador for the law firm
