Unified Comms Applications Support Engineer Location:- ManchesterSalary:- £neg dep on exp + 20% Shift Allowance (Shift Pattern, not weekends)Environment:- UCAAS, UC, SIP, Open Source Voice Technology, Kamailio, FreeSwitch, WebRTC, RTP Engine, Broadsoft, Broadworks, Bash, Python.Our client, a leading provider of hosted telecoms services is looking for a hands-on UC Applications Engineer to support, monitor and maintain the core networks that supports the UC services.This role will involve primarily the Incident & Change Management of Unified Comms Service detailing and implementing changes.This will involve working with internal engineering teams and 3rd party vendors and carriers. The role will also involve the support of software upgrades and full regression testing of major patch and software upgrades.As part of the role, there will also be an opportunity to own and lead on internal projects to allow for further development of your skills.Skills Required:-The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar technical UC/Telecoms environment and will be familiar with Incident, Problem and Change Management processes.
