The business remains family owned and was founded in 1870 with 18 branches across the U.K. Our turnover is in excess of £250 million and rapidly growing with nearly 1,000 colleagues.Transport and Warehouse Manager – The Role:We are looking for Transport and Warehouse Manager to plan and co-ordinate the day to day transport operations and to manage the domestic transport fleet to ensure a compliant, cost effective and on- time service to our customers whilst maximising profitability.As our Transport and Warehouse Manager, youre not just managing vehicles; youre managing a team of supervisors, administration staff, drivers and warehouse staff. Youll ensure compliance, optimise routes, and maintain the high standard of service ourclients have come to expect.
