Job Description

Credit Control/ Free onsite Parking/ Agile Working (WFH 2 Days Per Week)/ Excellent Benefits/ Industry Discounts/ Annual Bonus I am looking for an experienced B2B Credit Controller to join my clients Salford based site. The role willrequire thesuccessful candidate to manage the collections process for a high volume and value ledger. The successful candidate will have full responsibilityfor managing their ledger, negotiating payment plans and building relationships with their regional and key account customers.Job Description

  • Proactively collect outstanding and aged debt to ensure that overdue balances are kept to a minimum
  • Work toreduce ledger values
  • Management and resolution of any associated queries to ensure prompt payment
  • Allocate cash payments torelevant accounts
  • Buildandmaintain relationships with new and existing customers
  • Report on any outstanding orproblematic debtescalating as required
  • Support the wider team with cash allocation and billing queries
  • Support systems and process improvement projects
  • Liaising with contacts at multiple business unit sites to resolve queries
  • Placing accounts on stop as required, reviewing and removing when issues resolved
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a B2B Credit Control role
  • Previousexperience within a fast paced, larger businessenvironment and ability to work to tight time frames and deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and develop strong relationships
  • Ability to liaise with contacts in a multi-site business effectively
  • Customerfocused approach
  • Problemsolving abilities
  • Target driven mentality
  • Be a proactive team player with the ability to work independently as required
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Strong Excel and IT skills. SAP is highly advantageous, however not essential
  • Retail sector Credit Control experience is highly advantageous although not essential
