Buyer Job description Buyer Duties- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies and processes- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements- Analyze market trends and conditions to make informed purchasing decisions- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of goods and services- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant data- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurementBuyer Requirements- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field- Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management, and logistics- Familiarity with ERP systems such as Edwards, AS400, Oracle EBS, or SAP- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build strong supplier relationships- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions- Strong communication and interpersonal skillsPlease note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
