Job Description

Business Development Manager £28k - £30k plus commission £10k + Manchester8:30am to 4:30pm with 30 min lunch, Monday to Friday.To maximise the volume and margin generated from every customer opportunity, using a combination of up selling, account management, new customer acquisition and cross-selling as indicated within KPIs / performance targets. To work within a team that aimsto exceed expectations of customers by effectively identifying and matching customer needs in a professional, responsive and effective manner.

  • Source new business 80% & manage existing accounts 20%.
  • Sell the 3 product solution of diesel, adblue & gasoil at our bunker sites to existing and new business prospects
  • Maximise volumes & margins.
  • Deliver Contract proposals to largest fuel users in UK
  • Carry out brief research of the company prior to making contact and ensure use of the prospect bible/Trello at all times so that leads can be monitored and assessed.
  • Be prepared before making contact with existing or new customers and do so in a professional manner, taking detailed notes during the calls and updating relevant databases accordingly.
  • Send relevant information gained from calls to the customer and confirm details of callback date and time with the customer.
  • Maximise sales packs out and Customer Account Forms in to achieve new business goals - particularly at nominated bunkers. Update prospect CRM system
