Job Description

An award winning, fast paced manufacturing ecommerce business based in Greater Manchester are recruiting an Artwork Digitizer Team Leader, with a focus on embroidery as a result of consistent growth over the past 5 years resulting in a 400% growth in size of workforce and revenues.The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the manager and the Artworkers to manage a growing team of to produce machine-ready artwork to the satisfaction of customers within required timeframes.In addition to normal duties of an Artworker Digitser you will the Embroidery Team Leaders skills and responsibilities will also include;

  • Support the team in ensuring all tickets are answered within service level agreements and performance targets are achieved
  • You will have a customer focus and commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction assisting where possible to answer customer artwork queries
  • Monitor workflows and support team where applicable possible, implanting training to the team including refresher sessions
  • Assist the management team in bringing digitizing costs down by reducing volume sent
  • Complete artwork in workflow (reduced and amended as required)
  • Reporting statistics and attending the production walk arounds
  • You will have at a least a basic understanding of production capacity
  • A working knowledge and understanding of Wilcom (Embroidery) Software
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Excellent prioritisation skills and able to juggle competing demands
  • To be accepting to change and always have a can-do attitude
  • Be proactive in implementing improvement ideas and encourage others to do so
