We are recruting on behalf of our client a Driver Technician on a Temporary to permanent basis We are looking for highly motivated individuals who can help in our clients company mission to improve people’s quality of life and independence every day. Driver Technicians are a pivotal part of the success of the service provided. This is a fast-paced, challengingrole which can make a real difference to people’s lives.Job purpose:Deliver, collect, installs, adjust, assess and demonstrate equipment and goods in, to and from the homes of vulnerable people to assist in helping to live independently. Often the role is undertaken in a challenging and emotional environment, dealing with clients/familiesthat may be recently bereaved, be end of life, have learning difficulties or needing equipment to help rehabilitate.Duties of a Driver Technician:• To collect, deliver and install a varied assortment of healthcare equipment to our service users.• To demonstrate when required the use and function of the equipment (as per induction training).• To follow a prescheduled route ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of our equipment.• Report or handle any queries, questions or issues during visits.• To log all activity on company provided scanners.We are looking for drivers who care about people and want to make a difference in their local community. This is a job where the focus is on the quality of care provided at each delivery. What you do, enables people to be cared for at home with some independence.It matters.What we look for in a Driver Technician:• To hold a current, valid driving licence. Experience in driving a company vehicle preferred.
