Job Description

Are you an experienced Depot Manager or Deputy Supervisor with a background in the Oil/petroleum storage industryThis opportunity would suit an individual looking for a new leadership role in the South West.Generous Pension, life assurance and leave package on top of basic salary. Full relocationSalary c£50-55,000Location: Torpoint, PlymouthOur Bulk Fuels client is looking to appoint a new Depot Manager to be based at their site in Cornwall, who will be responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Depot, meeting company defined strategic objectives, within agreed parameters, andall the necessary HSE/EA requirements, in particular COMAH, to meet customer service levels and to achieve the financial goals set.Reporting to the Operations Director, the role entails Managing the Depot and associated Jetty Assets to ensure the desired level of support and delivery of fuel to customers and stakeholders, MoD (Ministry of Defence), Royal Navy, QHM (Queens Harbour Master)and stakeholders at HMNB (Her Majestys Naval Base) at Devonport, Plymouth.The Depot Manager will ensure that all assets are managed and fit for purpose encompassing all aspects of maintenance, compliance, and minor/major works to the required frequency and standard in accordance with mandated legislation and relevant good practiceincluding CoMAH, Health & Safety at Work act etc.Your profile:You will be an experienced manager with a proven track record in the oil/petroleum storage industry, with knowledge of COMAH, EA Containment Policy and PSLG requirements, able to demonstrate strong leadership, and the ability to positively engage all stakeholdersand motivate staff, with a focus on changing both culture and safety standards within the operations.The job will require the post holder to be a self-motivated experienced manager with the appropriate degree or equivalent professional qualification or experience, able to demonstrate strong leadership, who can positively engage all stakeholders and motivatestaff, with a focus on changing both culture and safety standards within the operations.As some occasional travel to other sites may be required, candidates will need to have a full (preferably clean) driving licence.
