Job Description

CK Group are recruiting for an Clinical Study Assistant to join a company in the Clinical Research industry working on a study site in Torpoint, Cornwall on a contract basis for 3 months initially. This position is a part time role, working 24 hours perweek.The Company:Our client is a global CRO focused on driving healthcare forward and improving outcomes for patients.Salary: £13.77 per hour PAYELocation:This Clinical Study Assistant role is based on site in Torpoint, CornwallClinical Study Assistant Role:

  • Verify and correct research study information on source documents.
  • Research queries and variances, and provide feedback to the site data collector
  • Input research study data into trial Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system, maintaining quality control for content, accuracy, and completeness
  • Prepare and maintain research study files
  • Assist in maintenance of regulatory documentation
  • Input visit data into Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) to track patient visits and procedures completed against the study budget
  • Perform various administrative support functions such as reception, office organization, and office supply management
Your Background:
  • BS/BA in life sciences or educational equivalent and/or relevant work experience in a clinical environment or medical setting; e.g. clinical research coordinator, nurse, medical assistant
  • Knowledge of clinical trials & medical terminology
  • In-depth knowledge of departmental, protocol and study-specific operating procedures, consent forms, and study schedules
  • Skilled in using MS Windows and Office applications such as Access, Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
