Job Description

Accounts Assistant ? Tormarton (GL9 post code) ? Permanent ? £20-£25,000 per annum (dependant on experience)The Accounts Assistant will join a busy Head Office based primarily in their Tormarton Office with occasional travel to their Castle Combe Headquarters.Main duties and responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant

  • Supplier and Subcontractors set up in line with Group procedures
  • Verifying and processing Subcontractors
  • Purchase Ledger, input (3-way matching process) and queries
  • Assisting with Completing monthly reconciliations (Bank, Balance Sheet, Inter-company etc.)
  • Assisting with Monthly CIS returns and PAYE/P32s submission
  • Processing Employee expenses
  • Assisting with VAT returns
  • Assisting with month end processing and monthly management accounts pack
  • Prepare pay-runs for authorisation
  • Ensuring invoice filing system is up to date and in line with Group procedures
  • Dealing with a variety of account queries
  • Other ad-hoc duties within the department
  • Skills & experience required of the Accounts Assistant
  • Accounting knowledge
