We offer an A* service to our portfolio of blue-chip clients and have grown year on year to become one of the leaders in the infrastructure and utilitysectors.So, what is this Agricultural Liaison Officer role aboutAgricultural Liaison Officers (ALOs) are the main interface between the client and landowners, occupiers and agents on a day to day basis. You will be communicating between all the key stakeholders, and it is essential that you build relationships withthe affected parties.As a Liaison Officer, you will be a key part of Dalcour Maclarens project team in the pre-construction and construction stages of projects. Youll be in daily contact with clients, contractors, landowners, farmers and occupiers to negotiate and settle compensationclaims, install site notices, records of condition of land before entry and arranging access to land for surveys.What will I be doing

  • Daily landowner, occupier and agent communications, including liaising regarding access for survey and construction works
  • Working closely with our internal teams, the client and their contractor
  • Sharing insightful knowledge about agricultural practices
  • Advising the client on practical matters affecting land
  • Attending pre-entry meetings before the scheme enters the construction phase
  • Reviewing contractor works to make sure they fall in line with any agreements made during pre-entry meetings
  • Dealing with landowner complaints regarding on site activities
  • Site visits for serving notices, undertaking record of conditions and undertaking site meetings.
  • Land Referencing, finding owners and occupiers of land
  • Liaising with colleagues and keeping the client up to date
  • Assisting the team and settling compensation claims
You will be perfect for this role if you.
  • Are an excellent communicator with the willingness to learn and develop
  • Have good knowledge of agriculture and rural affairs
  • Are self-motivated and organised
  • Have a full UK driving licence
  • Previous experience in a similar type of role is ideal but not essential as full training will be provided
