Job Description

Insight Analyst - 6 Month Fixed Term ContractLocation: Hemel Hempstead or Tingley or HomebasedVacancy Type: Fixed Term/SecondmentAbout The RoleTo be part of a highly skilled, and specialised team led by the Head of Information & Insight to undertake expert analysis and support the wider business to become a world class provider of temporary staffing solutions.Responsible for defining, planning and executing operational tasks associated with the day to day running of the Information Insight Team. Providing further support across the business associated with the diurnal running of NHS Professionals.Accountable to the Director of Business Performance, the post holder will be undertaking high level analysis with potential business impact, working closely with Senior Managers across the organisation to manage this output. Personal objectives will include a financial benefit realisation based on the geographic region to which the individual is assigned - a business partner model.Working with a variety of senior stakeholders within NHS Professionals, to CEO and Board level, the post holder will be required to build key working relationships and promote best practice across the business to ensure that the working output is aligned with the strategic goals of the organisation.The role is multi-faceted and utilises the fullest range of analytical skills, exceptional interpersonal skills, advanced communication skills (verbal and written), and a key understanding of NHSP’s strategic direction and mission.As part of this process, the post holder will be required to attend meetings throughout England. As a result, the job holder will be required to hold a valid driving license.About The Candidate• Degree Qualification to a 2:1 standard or equivalent• Proven ability to operate and move between strategic and operational level thinking• High level of people engagement skills• Ability to build effective collaborative relationships with a wide range of professionals, internally and externally, to Board level• Ability to challenge and influence established beliefs and behaviour to deliver strategic development• Ability to work as part of multi-disciplinary, and cross functional group, to achieve the optimum outcome for all parties• Advanced communication skills including the ability to use a variety of media and communication channels to reach and influence the target audience.• Communicating highly complex and contentious information where barriers to understanding exist• Advanced presentation skills including public speaking’ capability, ability to pitch both style and content of a presentation to suit the audience and effectively convey the message• Advanced numerical, analytical and logical problem-solving skills• Experience working with Machine Learning development and application desirable• Negotiation and conflict resolution skills• Time management and organisational skills• Continual improvement and development of self and others• Proficient with a wide suite of computer software applications and IT technology• Advanced user skills across the Microsoft Office Suite• An understanding of statistical analysis, including most appropriate visualisation output to inform decision making• Ability to deliver within, and significantly influence, the strategic changeable landscape• Practical experience of data analysis and producing high level summaries for senior stakeholders• Knowledge of research methodology and ability to statistically analyse and use data to degree level• Theoretical and practical experience of working with Account Management and Customer Service delivery teams• Account Management experience• Demonstrable experience in Healthcare, temporary staffing or outsourced services• Demonstrable experience developing effective working relationships with service teams to ensure understanding of service performance and improvement.What perks are we offering in return
