Job Description

Title: Head Architect - Solution ModellingHours: 37.5Base: HomebasedContract: PermanentNHS Professionals is right at the heart of the NHS’s recruitment transformation. We’re part of the NHS family and its largest provider of bank managed services. So, we’re a major player in contingent clinical staffing to NHS organisations nationwide. We also provide a diverse range of recruitment services to support national initiatives, such as the national vaccination recruitment programme. As the NHS continues to transform, we’ll be supporting with recruitment and workforce solutions to deliver the workforce that the NHS needs.At this critical time for the NHS, we’re looking to further strengthen the Solutions team. The Solutions team builds new recruitment/workforce solutions from the initial idea, all the way through to implementation. This involves drawing together people, process and technology to deliver recruitment and workforce solutions that make a difference for the NHS. So, we’re a team of creative thinkers, collaborative workers, tech specialists, process specialists and recruitment experts.As Head Architect - Solution Modelling, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that NHSP’s solution models (e.g., for new products/services, bid responses, renewals) include all the appropriate inputs and assumptions in order to enable effective commercial pricing and to deliver a best-in-class outcome. You’ll work closely with Solutions colleagues and with colleagues in Operations, Business Development, Account Management, Implementation/PMO and Finance, as well as external providers and best practice benchmarks, in order to acquire and validate the necessary solution inputs. Once live, you’ll monitor theperformance of a solution to help inform future modelling/assumptions and continuous improvement initiatives. This will ensure that NHSP’s solution models deliver value and efficiency to NHSP, our clients and our workers/candidates.You’ll be an experienced recruitment solutions, business analysis/consulting, commercial or technical professional with knowledge of what good looks like in the world of contingent and/or permanent recruitment. You’ll also bring experience of modelling/calculating the impact of systems and process on people activities/responsibilities in a recruitment services environment. Public sector/NHS experience is welcome, but is not essential. An interest in and/or experience of recruitment technology systems configuration (e.g., roster platforms, booking systems, ATS, VMS etc.) would be helpful, although what really counts is the ability to work collaboratively and proactively to bring great workforce solutions to life.The successful candidate will have:

  • Knowledge of recruitment technology systems process and/or configuration (e.g., roster platforms, booking systems, ATS, VMS etc.)
  • Knowledge of process design/review and/or best practice methodologies, e.g., LEAN is desirable
  • Experience of process design, solution design, consulting, implementation, commercial and/or sales support in recruitment managed services
  • Experience of modelling/calculating the impact of systems and process on people activities/responsibilities in a recruitment services environment
  • Public sector/NHS experience is welcome, but is not essential
  • Experience of working with commercial modelling and design teams in a recruitment services environment
  • Experience of communicating complex data and ideas effectively to senior audiences
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to acquire and validate information and ways of working
  • Excellent organisational skills, spanning time-management and document/data management
