Job Description

Do you have a passion for data led continuous improvement Do you have a curious business mind Are you a go to person for data and insightsRole summary:NHS Professionals is looking for a Data Insight Lead to embed themselves in their business area, really understand the challenges, identify trends and uncover opportunities to improve outcomes using data modelling and insight.The Data Insight Lead is the lynchpin of their business area for working with the wider NHS Professionals data solutions, driving data led improvements and co-ordinating data initiatives to achieve business goals.This role may be located in either of our offices (Tingley or Hemel Hempstead), follow a hybrid approach or be homebased.Skills/Responsibilities:As a Data Insight Lead in our business you will:

  • Undertake business area analysis to support delivery of functional objectives, primarily supporting the teams with data led operational, financial and resource modelling
  • Using our Business Analytics Services, develop and manage visualisations to be shared across the specific business function
  • Represent your business function regarding the planning and implementation of future input/outputs from the NHS Professionals Data Warehouse and Data Services
  • Using data and insight, work collaboratively with the business to co-develop plans designed to improve processes and working practices to maximise the impact of resources and business tools
  • Collaborate with owners of our business services to advise on the development and continuous improvement of added value services
  • Lead the organisation of Data Advisory Groups within your business function, designed to bring the data into the heart of the business
  • Work with support functions, including the communications team, to develop, oversee and monitor the implementation data-led communications
  • Build effective relationships across your business area, galvanising colleagues around data services and solutions
About you:To be successful in this role, you need to:
  • Bring a minimum of 2 years practical experience of data analysis and producing high level summaries for senior stakeholders to inform and influence decision making
  • Possess advanced numerical, analytical and logical problem-solving skills
  • Be an expert user of Power BI, Dynamics or Salesforce.
  • Have exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships
  • Be an engaging communicator (both verbally and in writing) with advanced presentation and public speaking skills
  • Demonstrate a proven ability to influence senor level management and stakeholders
  • Bring a track record of operating and moving between strategic and operational level thinking
  • Be a collaborator and be able to work as part of multi-disciplinary and cross functional teams
  • Hold a valid driving licence to enable travel to meetings across England
