Job Description

You will establish and embed formal processes across all projects completed in the business and help build a robust data governanceframework to drive a continuous improvement culture in data quality across all in-scope data.We can offer great career progression opportunities, ability to be based anywhere across the UK, benefits which you can flex to meet your needs and training and development opportunities.This incredible opportunity to lead and implement your ideas of an effectively governed data ecosystem and will be predominantly home based with attendance to quarterly meetings in Leeds expected.What youll be doing:

  • Lead results on high profile strategic projects that require support in areas such as data migration, document management and data quality
  • Embed Data Quality initiatives that will deliver tangible data quality improvement through root cause analysis, data cleansing etc.
  • Establish and govern an enterprise data governance implementation roadmap including strategic priorities for development of information-based capabilities
  • Engage a network of business partners and build relationships between them and the central Data & Insight team
  • Develop education tools and documentation to support colleagues and clients for data quality improvements
  • Collaborate with company and shareholders to establish and drive best Data Quality practice
What youll bring:
  • Experience embedding Data Governance processes and standards into existing and future strategic projects
  • Knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection
  • Experience leading or playing a significant role in an ambitious and successful data team
  • Good understanding of various project management techniques
  • Confident communicator and able influence senior members of leadership teams.
It would be great if you had:
  • Knowledge of one or more Data Governance or Data Quality tools (e.g. Informatica, Alation, Collibra, etc)
  • Extensive knowledge of quality management systems, methodologies and principles.
  • Recognised Data Management qualification (e.g. DAMA)
