Job Description

Compliance & Implementation Co-OrdinatorLocation: Phoenix House, Tingley, WF3 1WEAdvertising End Date: 23 Jan 2021Vacancy Type: PermanentAbout The Role

  • To assess and resolve all enquiries and requests, primarily on the telephone, but by all other channels of communication, providing a world class customer service with first point resolution where possible
  • Participate in the recruitment process of flexible workers by checking all documentation provided ensuring it meets NHS Professionals compliance requirements
  • Completion of audits, document checks and verification of personal information provided in line with DBS Guidelines, Home Office Regulations and NHS Check Standards
  • Provide advice on Compliance processes to both flexible workers and internal staff members
  • Use judgement and make informed decisions within established processes and procedures when dealing with any enquiries
  • Actively represent the customer throughout the organisation ensuring continuous improvement, highlighting any unusual trends to other team members and line management
  • Sharing knowledge and updates with the wider team
  • Escalating any issues or breaches as appropriate
  • Supporting the local teams during implementations at Meet and Greet events
  • Ensure all Compliance process are completed to a high and exacting standard
  • Adhere to agreed key performance indicators, service level agreements and quality standards to maximise customer satisfaction
  • Be able to handle sensitive and emotional situations autonomously
  • Where possible, actively participate in the induction, training and mentoring of new Compliance Co-Ordinators, ensuring a high level of up to date knowledge is maintained
  • Provide additional support to other areas and tasks as the business requires
  • About The Candidate
  • Experience of using word processing, spreadsheets and database packages
  • Call Centre experience or working within a customer service environment
  • Able to communicate effectively using excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Maintain confidentiality always in respect of the Data Protection Act (1998)
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Understand when necessary to escalate issues in a timely manner
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing, face to face and over the telephone with a wide range of clients and customers
  • Ability to prioritise workload and multitask
  • Ability to monitor and analyse workload
  • Flexible approach to changing business need
  • Self-starter - can work with on own with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work autonomously without work colleagues or Line Manager present.
  • Disciplined in working and setting appropriate working practices.
  • Be able to remain calm under pressure
  • Work within a fast paced highly emotional environment
  • Ability to deal with difficult situations
  • Excellent keyboard skills with a high level of speed and accuracy
  • Flexible and adaptable attitude to work
  • Demonstrate courtesy, tact, and diplomacy
  • Problem solving ability
  • Good concentration required for extended periods when maintaining and completing audit updates reports. These require 100% accuracy.
