Baler Operator - £14.50ph - HuntingdonTaskmaster are currently looking to recruit a Baler Operator to join our clients team based in Huntingdon.Job DescriptionOur client is a family-owned company manufacturing animal feed and bedding from straw. The factory operates on a 24hr/7 continental shift system. The experienced and fully trained production team consists of two multi- skilled operators and a multi-skilledshift manager per shift.The Role: Baler OperatorA vacancy has arisen for a General Operator / Forklift Driver within the Bailer Department at the Huntingdon Site, own transport is essential due to the site location.Starting salary is £14.50ph with the potential to progress higher. The main function of the role is to operate the straw bailing machine and transport pallets of finish goods with a FLT onto trailers. The candidate will need experience with driving a Forkliftand provide a copy of a valid licence.Our client operates a 12-hour continental shift system, overtime is paid.Duties include: Minding / Operating an automated line. Transporting finished goods into storage or onto lorries ready from dispatch. Ensuring adequate stock is available. Conducting regular ad-hoc physical stock count on site.
