Transport PlannerThis Transport Planner / Transport Controller role is commutable from Tickhill, Maltby and Retford. This will involve shift work to meet the needs of the business eg. 6am-6pm or 9am-9pm.This Transport Planner role will assist the depot manager in the day to day transport planning for multi drop and adhoc deliveries and collections. As the company is expanding throughout the UK, this would be a fantastic opportunity to join this plant hire/constructionfirm. You will route a team of 10-15 drivers deliveries/collections from vans up to Class 1 lorries.You will be working for a Blue Chip supplier of a complete range of construction equipment across the region who are looking for an organised Transport planner to join their professional team.Duties will include:- Scheduling movements of various plant hire equipment to high priority contracts- Assisting with scheduling of routine servicing and repair of fleet- Route planning whilst ensuring drivers hours and WTD are adhered to- Tachograph, smart analysis and Telematics reports to be processed and any issues or trends fed back to line managersTo be successful in the role of Transport Planner, you will have previously worked in positions as a Transport Controller, Transport Router, Logistics Coordinator, Transport Clerk or Logistics Planner.
