Junior Accountant/Semi SeniorThe RoleOur client is a well established independent firm of Accountants. Due to a continued growth within the business, the firm are looking to recruit a part qualified AAT or part qualified ACCA Junior Accountant/Semi Senior to join the firms Doncaster or Rotherhamoffice.The firm work with a variety if clients which consists of mainly small growing businesses to medium sized OMBs, providing accounting support which includes management accounting, statutory accounting, business advisory services, tax and VAT advice, as aresult the role will offer an excellent opportunity to develop experience within a full accounting environment.Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe successful individual will support one of the and will assist in the following :

Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
Client Bookkeeping which will include working at client premises
Preparing corporate and personal tax returns
Preparation of VAT returns

Skills and QualitiesTo be considered for this position it is likely you will be a part qualified AAT or ACCA or with at least 18 months experience working within a firm of accountants. You will have developed experience of preparing statutory accounts and tax computation withlittle supervision.Applications of individuals who have decided not to take the formal qualification route butA good working knowledge of Sage and Xero accounting software will also be a distinct advantage.Remuneration
