Job Description

Principal Resourcing are working in partnership with a Primary Academy based in Rotherham who are seeking to appoint an experienced Year 6 Teacher to start ASAP, for one term initially.The academy prides itself on catering for the individual needs of each child. The Principal believes in an inclusive and nurturing environment where learning enables all of its pupils to work together to realise their full potential in all aspects of theireducation. The academy are looking for a teacher who can display passion and enthusiasm for teaching at this crucial key stage in their childrens education.Within the role you will be required to:

  • Support and enthuse learners to reach their potential
  • React to childrens interests to engage their learning opportunities
  • Provide opportunities that will excite and ignite a passion for learning
  • Deliver planned guided work
  • Teach the class in the absence of the class teacher
Skills and attributes:
  • Relevant qualifications - QTS (Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert. Ed etc.) or equivalent
  • A proactive team member, committed to raising standards and achievement
  • A current DBS registered with the Update Service or a DBS completed through Principal Resourcing
