Job Description

About The RoleAre you interested in taking on a new challenge Do you have the skills to strengthen our team further, then we want to hear from you! Morrisons Manufacturing site in Thrapston is currently on the look out for a Lead Scheduler.Duties include:-

  • Creating and maintaining production plans,
  • Identifying problems and implementing improvements,
  • Providing quick response to production issues.
  • Minimising company costs and meeting deadlines
  • Previous experience in this area would be desirable but not essential as full training would be given.
The successful candidate will need:-
  • Analytical, organisational and communication skills, (both written and verbal)
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft office and Excel.
About YouAs well as being extremely organised. You will also:
  • Have worked as a Manufacturing Advisor, Production Planner or equivalent, within a fast paced manufacturing environment, not necessarily within food manufacturing, although this would be a bonus
  • Be experienced in demand planning with a strong understanding of forecasting tools or production scheduling
  • Have excellent skills within Google systems and Microsoft Office Packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint alongside working knowledge of MRP or scheduling systems such as Oracle
  • Be able to work at pace to deliver accurate results, and will be a strong communicator with people at all levels.
  • Ideally have formal Supply Chain qualifications such as CIPS or NVWQ (although not essential)
