Job Role: Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical Location: Thrapston, Northamptonshire Salary: £40,000-£45,000 + Overtime Hours: 4 on 4 off rotation days/nights, shift pattern - 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am Job Type: Full time, Permanent The Company: Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established, market leading packaging firm based in Thrapston on their search for a mechanical bias Maintenance Engineer to join their growing engineering team on the 4 on 4 off days and nights shift pattern.Our client has been established for well over 50 years and with sites dotted all over the globe, are now at a stage of considerable growth where they can add a highly skilled maintenance engineer to their busy team. The Package: · Salary of between £40,000-£45,000 dependent of experience · 28 days holiday · Overtime available at an enhanced rate · Pension Scheme · Commitment to ongoing training and development · Free Onsite Parking · Company Work Wear / Uniform Provided (PPE) The Duties: · Electrical & Mechanical fault finding & rectification on packaging machinery · Conducting planned & preventative maintenance on an array of packaging machinery (Conveyors, Motors, Gearboxes, Packaging Machinery, Corrugation Machinery & Ancillary Machinery) · Implement continuous improvement methods to ensure smooth running of the plant and minimise downtime · Adhere to Health & Safety procedures · Collaborate with the engineering manager to ensure smooth production of the plant The Requirements: · Minimum 2 years worth of experience working within a production and/or packaging environment (essential) · Mechanical and electrical fault finding capabilities (essential) · Relevant Electrical/Mechanical Qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs) - Advantageous · Proven hydraulic and pneumatic competencies (advantageous) · Ability to work alone & as part of a team · Full UK Driving License Interaction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
