Are you an experienced Procurement Manager or Purchasing Manager looking for an opportunity to make your mark in an expanding SME Do you want to hone your skills and develop into a more senior role over timeBASIC SALARY: Up to £35,000BENEFITS:· Up to 25 days holiday · Pension · Private Medical CoverLOCATION: WellingboroughCOMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Northampton, Kettering, Milton Keynes, Bedford, Corby, Thrapston, Daventry, Rushden, Huntingdon, Olney.JOB DESCRIPTION: Procurement Manager, Purchasing Manager, Buying Manager, Senior Buyer - Electronics, Electrical ComponentsJoining a well-respected manufacturer, youll work with our long-established global suppliers to deliver procurement-based value add across our product portfolio and have the added opportunity to develop into a Senior member of our strategic team.As well as being supported by, and working alongside, our internal and external client and technical teams you will: · Build and maintain strong relationships with our current suppliers, based throughout China and Europe. · Investigate potential new suppliers and determine how they could add value to our core business. · Regularly review supplier performance and confidently negotiate cost-savings. · Undertake stock and cost of acquisition analysisYoull also provide market intelligence and advice on the best way to achieve value for money.PERSON SPECIFICATION: Procurement Manager, Purchasing Manager, Buying Manager, Senior Buyer - Electronics, Electrical ComponentsIts not essential that youre CIPS or MCIPS qualified but you will be an experienced Procurement / Purchasing Manager, ideally with experience of high volume / low value products.In addition, you will: · Be highly analytical · Be an excellent communicator and relationship builder · Be qualified to Degree level or equivalent · Enjoy working as part of a small but effective teamAs we grow, so will you.
