Clamp Truck DriverLocation: Thrapston, NN14 4QS.Salary: £29155.56 per annum.Contract: Full time, Permanent.Shifts: Double days, 6-2 and 2-10.Saica is one of the leading European players in the development and production of recycled paper for corrugated cardboard with a production of 2.5 million tons of paper.The Company has recently built on its’ success in the paper and corrugated market and diversified into the development and production on Flexible packaging.With more than 9,000 employees across Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, UK, Ireland, Turkey, Luxembourg and The Netherlands, Saica Group has four business divisions: recycled paper production for corrugated cardboard (PAPER), recyclable materials recovery (NATUR), production of corrugated packaging (PACK) and flexible packaging (FLEX).The consolidated turnover of the multinational group is over 3.5 billion Euros.We are looking to recruit an experienced Clamp Truck Driver to join our conversion team.Key Objectives of the role:• Transport correct reels of paper to loading points.• Scan reels in and out using SAP system.• Identify any damaged reels and remove to damage bay.• Follow paper requirement program and running CBS program.• Remove preparation waste to Baler house.• Strip off damaged paper from reel in damage bay when time allows.• Cover reel off loading for holidays or late Lorries.• Keep truck and work area clean.• Able to follow the daily work programme and be able to react and adapt as necessary when the need arises.Key Attributes:• Use SAP system.• Knowledge of paper types, grades, deckles etc.• To be able to follow paper program and CBS program.• Competent to drive a clamp truck a lot of time in reverse.• To stack three high when safe to do so.• Knowledge of ware house layout.• To drive a fork lift truck when required.• To operate clamp and fork trucks in a safe manner.• You will need to demonstrate a flexible enthusiastic and team based approach to work.• Preference will be given to applicants with previous truck driving experience• Must have excellent communication skills.
