You will actively drive and cultivate, individually, and as part of the management team, a sustainable culture and methodology of continuous improvement In line with projects, develop relevant measurable benefits, track their delivery and report thereon. Work closely with employees to support change through transition as a result of process modernisation to ensure sustainabilityWhat we need from youExperience Required Several years in a related position within a FMCG business. A proven, demonstrable record of delivering continuous, sustainable process improvement, meeting and exceeding strategic targets, across all aspects of operations. IT literate with business modelsand related software. Working within a manufacturing environment where quality and customer service are key performance indicators. Strong leadership experience is essential as is excellent rapport building and communication skills.Knowledge Required Manufacturing technology and techniques within the corrugated packaging industry. (ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:1994 BRC / IOP ISO 18001:2007). Black belt Six Sigma would be an advantage The SAICA organisation, resources, location and culture. Value streams of processes and systems. Operational constraints and strategic priorities. Commercial and supply chain function and understanding of cross functional alignment to all business areas. Educated to degree level or possess relevant qualifications and experience associated with continuous improvement.Skills Required Customer focused, quality and service driven approach. Ability to utilise lean manufacturing, decision making tools, and apply them at the relevant time. Ability to facilitate true root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions. Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels, across all stakeholders. Ability to liaise effectively with all departments. Ability to apply relevant decision-making tools and methodologies.
