Job Description

One of the UKs Leading banks are looking for passionate KYC Analysts, for an exciting career in the financial regulatory industry based on their site in South Gyle on the business park in Edinburgh.This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced KYC Analyst to further their career in the financial regulatory sector, with the benefits and support of working with a leading UK bank on a potential long term project. As a KYC Analyst, you will:

  • Challenge the business to ensure financial crime risks are understood, mitigated and controlled
  • Monitor and report on compliance standards to internal and external stakeholders
  • Undertaking ongoing due diligence for Commercial Bank clients
  • Responsible for explaining and supporting with due diligence requirements to both internal and external clients
  • Act as a liaison point for managing relationships within Commercial Banking, including collaborative working with AML partners
  • Take responsibility for queries and issues through to resolution
  • Prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
To be a successful KYC Analyst you will have the following skills and experience:
  • Procedural / product / specialist knowledge - strong technical knowledge of anti-bribery, AML and sanctions and good technical knowledge of other financial crime areas
  • Experience within onboarding / remediation
  • End-to-end KYC knowledge and experience
  • Experience within commercial banking KYC / AML and knowledge / experience of PEGA
  • Organisational awareness and stakeholder management
  • Experience in managing and prioritising work in progress cases to ensure error rates are low and keeping the cases out of the breach population
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must be able to travel to Edinburgh for this role
  • Required to complete a Criminal Records Bureau, credit check, CIFAS and financial sanctions check
