Job Description

School Occupational Therapist - Peterborough Equivalent to NHS band 6-7 salary dependent on skills and experience Permanent Full time/Part-Time (flexible for the right candidate) Are you an Occupational Therapist looking for a new challenge Are you interested in working in an environment that solely supports students with special educational needs, specifically those needs associated with Autism Are you currently an OT wanting to develop your practice and experience in a specialist setting, with young people with a wide range of sensory and occupational needs Our client a registered independent specialist day school based in Thorney village, Peterborough. They teach children with social interaction and communication difficulties typically found in children with an autistic spectrum disorder (ASD). They are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic and passionate about working as a team, alongside Teachers, a Speech and Language Therapist and a Clinical Psychologist. The individual will be organised, adaptable and motivated with a good track recordof providing specialist OT assessment and intervention with autistic people. Working as part of the whole school team to deliver excellent therapy in a school focused on supporting our students to overcome barriers and challenges to reach their potential inindependence and understanding.
