Develop design ideas from concept through to manufacture
Generate parts models and assembly drawings using CAD, as well as tooling for assembly aids/fixtures, ensuring design and manufacturing feasibility with production partners.
Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers
Sourcing suitable materials for product development
Plan engineering processes to ensure projects are delivered to standard and on time.
Identify areas of improvement throughout the process
Liaise with third parties during the detailed design and manufacture of the technology

Senior Mechanical Design EngineerEssential Skills/Experience/Qualification Required

Have a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience within Mechanical Design
Have an understanding of Geometric Tolerancing for machined components
Experience working on CAD models and Systems
5+ years working in a similar role
Able to develop component design through CAD
Good time management

Senior Mechanical Design EngineerDesirable Skills/Experience/Qualification

Experience in sustainability/Recycling or chemical industries
Experience designing high temperature heavy process equipment
Working experience with mechanical and thermal FEA and FEA software
