Job Description

Miller (Night Shift) Thatcham Salary Negotiable Our client is looking for a Night Shift Miller to join their growing team!Miller Responsibilities:

• Responsible for setting, operating and running Milling centres
• Produce transmission components to the company quality standards
• Carrying out programming and editing functions to produce high quality components to drawing specifications
• Consulting with engineers/machinists to manufacture work-holding fixtures and devices
• Undertake day to day maintenance of machines and your working area
• Consulting with production control for work requirements
• You’ll also be required to complete Quality Control Plans and other documentation to support our high quality standard

The ideal Miller Will:

• Have a strong background in an engineering environment
• Completed an engineering course or similar apprenticeship with a sound working knowledge of engineering/manufacturing processes
• Experience within a Motorsport/Automotive/Aerospace industry (advantageous)
• Proven experience of setting, programming, editing and operating CNC milling machines is essential along with tool making experience
• Be able to read and understand engineering drawings and instructions
• Have knowledge of Edgecam, Unigraphics, Fanuc and Yasnac controls. You will ideally have knowledge of the following machines
