Job Description

A Materials testing laboratory based in London, that provides services that ensure building structures and projects using concrete materials are safe and durable.Role DescriptionFor this position you will be responsible for carrying out various tests on aggregate, soils & concrete. The role includes preparing samples, conducting tests using laboratory equipment, maintaining laboratory equipment and quality control. This is a full-timeon-site role at their location in Thamesmead, London. If site sampling is needed this would also be expected, van will be provided if site visit is required.Skills

Laboratory Skills: The candidate should have very good laboratory skills and be able to understand laboratory procedures and equipment.
Quality Control: The candidate should have an understanding of quality control processes and be able to apply them to laboratory tests and procedures.
Analytical Skills: The candidate should have strong analytical skills and be able to interpret test data accurately.
Laboratory Technicians: The candidate should have knowledge of laboratory testing and procedures and experience working as a laboratory technician.
Experience with aggregate, soils & concrete testing and quality control.
Comfortable working with technical software.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Full UK driving license
