Job Description

Our client, are a neutral and dynamic customs partner for small and large entrepreneurs in North West Europe. Every day they organise all kinds of customs documents for the import and export of goods and services from freight forwarders and their customers. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and demonstrate an aptitude suitable for a challenging role. Prior experience of managing and configuring a business network is essential..About the Role

  • Administer and maintain our network systems
  • Ensure that all systems maintain the highest possible availability and operations
  • Troubleshoot and fix network faults, and the ability to scrutinise logs
  • Maintaining the security and integrity of business network
  • Install and integrate new server hardware and applications
  • User profile management on active directory
  • Hardware procurement and deployment
  • Manage hardware and software distribution to other members of staff
  • Provide helpdesk support to end users in a timely manner i.e email problems, VPN problems, connectivity problems etc.
  • Perform network upgrades and manage network downtime effectively
  • Keep accurate records and documentation and make sure it is kept up to date.
About You
  • Experienced supporting end users across both 1st and 2nd line support
  • Previous experience working on troubleshooting and fixing network faults
  • Strong technical skills working with Office 365
  • Exposure to Hyper-V or VMware
