Job Description

Prestigious and multi-site, rural accounting firm with a strong brand presence now has a tremendously exciting career opportunity for an experienced client manager or high-caliber senior accountant looking to take that all important step up.The firm has a strong presence in the Kent marketplace, representing a wide array of clients and operating successfully in a number of niche sectors.This is a leadership role running your own portfolio of clients and having access to a pool of employees.Working closely with a number of Partners the day-to-day duties of the role will include:

Managing a mixed portfolio of clients in all aspects of the affairs
Mentoring and developing a pool of junior candidates
Reviewing and preparing statutory year end accounts
Managing aspects of the outsourced function
Some specific tax advisory duties
Getting involved in business development, marketing and business strategy
Representing the firm at a number of networking events and business functions
