JDI Legal - North East based specialist consultancy have a brand new instruction from a long standing Teesside law firm who have been in operation over 40 years.A small but thriving business who cover your typical high street services including wills and probate, property - resi and commercial, family and litigation.The role is for that of a talented and motivated commercial property solicitor. There is an existing caseload of transactions to inherit which includes the buying and selling of local businesses, freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals, lease renewals etc. There may also be a small amount of residential sales and purchase files but to a much lesser degree.The firm have up to date case management system in place and IT literacy is needed for this role.Its likely the successful individual will have a minimum of 3pqe but the partners are open to considering candidates at the senior end of qualification as the priority is that the person has a strong technical ability and can hit the ground running on a transaction.An element of business development will be required as the firm are looking to build up the commercial work.Should you be considering a move please do get in touch.
