NEW ACCOUNTANT REQUIRED BY AMBITIOUS EXPANDING PRACTICEAre you a Qualified Accountant looking to continue your career in an ambitious expanding locally based PracticeAre you looking for a local challenging and highly rewarding role with genuine career progressionAttracted by the idea of helping take a forward thinking local Practice to the next stage of their expansion programOur client is a local based Practice that operates in the same entrepreneurial and innovative manner as a forward thinking City practice In order to further extend their Practice and deal with already increasing workload this extremely friendly and professional Practice is now looking to recruit a pro-active, dynamic Qualified Accountant with excellent communication and client-facing skills to undertake a senior level role within their growing organisation.Working with a wide portfolio of clients operating in sectors including IT, Property, Construction and Engineering with turnovers up to £250m, the successful candidate will have a broad range of responsibilities including accounts preparation and audit working closely with team members and clients completing projects within tight deadlines.The position will be a mixture of accounts preparation and audit in addition the successful applicant will get involved in other areas of work that occurs within a busy thriving Practice including:-Accounts preperation & taxation work.Providing a professional service to a variety of clients.Progressing work to ensure deadlines are met.Planning and facilitating the performance of statutory audits.Audit work on larger assignments undertaken at client offices where travel is required.In time the post holder may also be involved in obtaining new business for the Practice.You will be working within a team of experienced professionals and this is a varied and challenging role where you will be responsible for undertaking work for a variety of businesses as well as being involved in accounts prep & audits for group and owner-managed businesses and other varied clients.If you are an Accountant currently working within a Top 50 practice or equivalent looking for an opportunity with a smaller firm to really shine then this would be an ideal opportunity for you. You will need to be personable and motivated, technically outstanding, have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and be able to work in an organised and efficient manner.Applicants with a genuine ambition to progress their career in Practice would be particularly well received.
